Alan Wolk

Alan D. Wolk passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, July 9th, 2026. Alan was born on July 2, 1948 in Rutland to Mollie and Morris Wolk of NYC. He grew up in Rutland and spent time living in Brattleboro before returning home. Alan worked for the family business, Wolk’s Clothing Store and later found his professional success at Heritage Family Credit Union, where he remained until his retirement. Alan enjoyed sporting events and was a devout fan of New England teams. He was also a lover of music and attending concerts with his loved ones.

He is survived by his wife, Linda Conway Wolk. His daughters, Kara Wolk and Jess Wolk (Chris Itz). His sisters, Barbara Stechenberg (Leon) and Carol Herbert (Bill). His step family: Mike and Nichole Conway, Brendan, Camron, Logan and Dylan. Katelyn and Jeremiah Goulet, Ella, Avery and Nolan. Adam Conway and Kelsay Bratton, Joshy and Charlie. Kelly and Anthony Simms, Keaton and Makiah.

Alan will be remembered fondly by all that knew him; especially for his kind heart, compassionate nature and his vibrant and witty sense of humor. Alan was always an advocate and a humanitarian.
