Proctor, Anita S. McCullough


Anita S. McCullough, 92, passed away peacefully Saturday evening June 7, 2025 at her home,
surrounded by her loving family.


She was born November 8, 1932 in West Rutland, the daughter of Vincent and Rose (Monville)
Leliukas.


Anita was a graduate of Mount St. Joseph Academy in Rutland, Vermont.


She was predeceased by her husband, Warren A. McCullough, who died in 2020, and by her
daughter Judith A. Hallett, who died in 2023.


She is lovingly remembered by her three daughters, Deborah McCullough and her partner
James Cunningham of Essex Junction, Vermont , Doreen McCullough of Proctor, Vermont, and
Darlene “Susan” Kirwan and her husband Jim, of Farina Fuquay, North Carolina, by her five
grandchildren; Sarah Gecha and her fiancé Erik Ronn, Kevin Gecha and his wife Casey, Sydney
Solomon, Sarah Solomon and Samuel Solomon and one great grandchild, Rylie Gecha.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated on Tuesday June 17, 2025 at 11 A.M. at St.
Bridgett’s Catholic Church, West Rutland, with the Rev. Richard Crawley as the Celebrant.

Burial will follow in River Side Cemetery in Proctor.
