Anthony Miglorie

Anthony P. “Caboose” Miglorie, 89, of Rutland, died Wednesday, April 19, 2017, at The Pines at Rutland.

He was born in Rutland, July 8, 1927, the son of Gennaro and Bernadina (Costantino) Miglorie.

Tony was a graduate of Mount St. Joseph Academy class of 1945 where he excelled in football, earning his nickname.

He enjoyed hunting and fishing.

Mr. Miglorie was employed as a carpenter until his retirement.

Surviving are his son, Victor Miglorie and his wife, Darlene, of Rutland, and their children, Katie, Julia and Jared, nieces nephews and cousins.

He was predeceased by his wife, Eunice (Pellistri) Miglorie; a sister, Mary Garrasi, and by six brothers, Frank Miglorie, Joseph Miglorie, Patrick Miglorie, Fred Miglorie, Louis Miglorie and Jerry Miglorie.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, April 27, at 11 a.m. at St. Peter Church in Rutland. Officiating will be the Rev. Thomas Houle, pastor.

Arrangements are under the direction of Clifford Funeral Home in Rutland.
