Barbara J. Doty

Barbara J. Doty, 77, of Clarendon, died on January 19, 2025 in her Home.

Barbara was born on June 24, 1947, in Rutland, VT, the daughter of Richard and Hazel (Page) McMahon.

Barbara attended Wallingford High School.

For many years she worked as an office administrator for Electrical Supply Co. retiring in 2006, after 38 years. Then worked as a cashier at Hannaford.

She enjoyed the ocean, bingo, spending time with friends, and experiencing the Vegas World.

Survivors include nieces Brenda (David) Trombley, Linda (Mike) Stanowski, Christina Harper, and Melissa (Tim Ketchum) Holden; nephews Bryan (Ann) McMahon of N. Clarendon, VT, Aaron (Henrica) Holden of Granby, CT, Dean Doty of Johnson, VT, and Buddy Doty of NC; brother-in-law Richard Doty of Lexington, NC; and several great nieces and nephews and cousins

She was predeceased by both parents; husband Bernard Doty in 2024; sisters-in-law Joyce and Jean; brother-in-law Bobby; nephew Shawn Holden; and a dear friend, Becky King

In honor of Barbara, donations may be made to the North Clarendon Volunteer Fire Department PO Box 30, N. Clarendon, VT 05759, or Wallingford Rescue 99 Maple St., Wallingford, VT 05773.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date for Barbara and husband Bernard.
