Carmela Tropeano

Carmela Tropeano, 92, of Rutland died Wednesday October 3, 2023 at Rutland Regional Medical Center.

She was born in Genoa, Italy October 26, 1930 the daughter of Joseph and Maria Russo.

In 1964 Carmela and her husband arrived in Long Island from Italy.

She enjoyed cooking and flower gardening.

Surviving are her daughter Annamaria Fournier of Rutland, a sister-in-law Susan Tropeano, two grandchildren, five great grandchildren and cousins.

She was pre-deceased by her husband Francesco Tropeano, and by a son Joseph Tropeano.

A visiting hour will be held Friday October 13, 2023 from 10:00 to 11:00am at Clifford Funeral Home followed by a Funeral Service at 11:00am.

Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery.
