Charles Vincent Loyzelle

SHREWSBURY- Charles Vincent Loyzelle “Chuck”, 65, of Shrewsbury, VT, died on December 26, 2024 at Rutland Regional Medical Center.

Charles was born on November 16, 1959, in Rutland, VT, the son of Charles E. and Norma J. (Todriff) Loyzelle.

He attended Rutland High School.

Charles married Monika Pitts on June 26, 1982 in Shrewsbury, VT.

For many years Chuck worked as a machine operator for General Electric.

He enjoyed building and flying remote control airplanes and spending time flying with his friends in Fair Haven.  He will be remembered for his epic meals that he prepared for his friends at GE.

Survivors include his wife Monika; sons Michael of Pittsford and Christopher of Rutland Town; a granddaughter Hayden Loyzelle and a sister Charisse Loyzelle of Rutland.

He was predeceased by both his parents; his brother Vincent Loyzelle and a sister Lorana St. Lawrence and his “copilot” Gunnar.

Calling hours will be held from 3:00-5:00pm followed by a funeral service at 5:00pm on Monday, January 6, 2025 at Clifford Funeral Home.
