Charles (Charlie) T. Reardon died on December 28, 2023 at Mountain View Center following a period of declining health. He was the 11th of 13 children, born to James E. and Mary (Costello) Reardon on August 19, 1942. He was a 1960 graduate of Mount Saint Joseph Academy. After graduation, he served in the U.S. Navy aboard the USS Boston. He was a proud member of the American Legion Post 31. After the service, Charles was employed by New England Telephone, and retired from Verizon after many years of service.

Charles is survived by two children, Sean of Rutland, VT and Brenda of Burlington, VT and her two children, Ethan and Josh. He is also survived by five five siblings: Mary Catherine Leahy of Shelburne, VT, Ann Sweeney of South Burlington, VT, Claire Gallagher of Hanover, NH, his twin sister Charleen (John) Sylvanowicz of Rutland, VT and Peggy (Robert) Walsh also of Rutland, VT, his brothers-in-law, John Palmieri and Dr. Robert Giordano and many nieces and nephews.

He was pre-deceased by his parents and four brothers; Bernard, John, James and Donald, and by three sisters, Barbara Giordano, Sister Elizabeth Reardon, SP and Joan Palmieri.

The family wishes to extend their appreciation to the staff at Mountain View Center for the exceptional care Charlie received during his stay.

Funeral services will be held Saturday January 13, 2024 at 11:00am at St. Peters Church in Rutland.

Burial will be at a later date in Calvary Cemetery.

Arrangements are under the direction of Clifford Funeral Home in Rutland.
