Christina Buffum

Christina Buffum of Rutland, Vermont passed away peacefully at her home on December 3, 2016. Christina grew up in Eastham, Mass. where her love for the ocean began. Some of her favorite places to visit were Coast Guard Beach where she collected sea glass and Camp Ground Beach to watch the sunset.

Christina loved her family and especially enjoyed spending time with her nephews and nieces. She will be greatly missed by her family and her many friends.

Christina is predeceased by her mother, Madeline Fograshy. She leaves behind her father, John Fograshy of Rutland Vermont; sister, Madeline VanZandt and husband Thomas of Pawlet Vermont; brother, Robert Fograshy and his wife Dina of Berwick Maine; brother, Brian Fograshy and wife Loretta, their two children, Lauren and Michael of Monson Mass.; sister, Elizabeth Davis and husband Richard, their two children, Matthew Davis of Boston and Olivia Davis-Guerra and husband Thomas Guerra of North Franklin Conn.; sister, Ellen Fograshy and husband, Richard Alberty of Middletown Springs Vermont

Christina was an avid animal lover. Contributions would be greatly appreciated, in her name, to the Rutland County Humane Society.
There will be no memorial service at this time. The family plans on holding a private service in May.
