David Hoisington

David Hoisington, a skilled carpenter and a life long resident of Mount Holly Vermont, died unexpectedly on August 9, 2023 at the age of 62, while undergoing treatment for pneumonia at Rutland Regional Medical Center.

David is survived by his wife Donna Ehmann Hoisington, his children Jeremy and Corey and their mother Diana, his grandson Ransom, his step father Glenn Lynds, his half brothers Lawrence, Micheal, and Arthur Lynds and Tony Hoisington, his half sisters Mary Lynds and Lisa Hoisington. He is predeceased by his step daughter Jaime, his father Reginold Hoisington, his mother Ruth Bellimer, his grandparents Anna Mae and Lawrence Bellimer.

David was born on July 11, 1961 to Ruth and Regi. He grew up in Bridgewater Vermont and attended Woodstock Union High School. He married Diana and had two children and moved to Washington State. David moved back to Vermont where he enjoyed spending time with his grandparents and family in Mount Holly. David enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson Motorcycle and camping with his family. David married Donna Ehmann in 2001, and built their home together on his grandparents property. They adopted their grandson, Ransom whom also enjoyed growing up in rural Vermont. David owned his own business “David’s Home Repair” and serviced the central Vermont area.

David will be deeply missed by his friends, family, and all who knew him.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
