David A. Perkins

David A. Perkins , 76 , died February 2 1 , 202 1 at Rutland Regional Medical Center .

He was born in Rutland, January 9 , 19 45 , the son of Charles and A lma ( Dumouchel ) Perkins .

David was a veteran of the US Air Force.

He w as a letter carrier for the USPS in Rutland for 41 years, retiring in 2009.

David was a member of Christ t he King Church .

Surviving are his wife , Barbara (Thorne) Perkins of Cuttingsville ; a son, Mark Perkins of Rutland; 2 daughter s, Deborah McDonagh of Naugutuck , CT and Jennifer Severance of Clarendon; a brother, Robert Perkins of Ohio, a brother, Robert “Bob” Perkins of Wilder; a sister Nancy Wagner of Manchester, NH and 7 grandchildren .

He was predeceased by his parents ; 4 sisters, Gladys, Evelyn, Bea and Susan; and a brother Charles Perkins .

A mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday, February 27, 2021 at 11 AM at Christ the King Church . There will be no calling hours.
