Rutland – Doris Marie Alberico

Doris M. Alberico 96, died Tuesday evening June 3, 2025 at Our House Residential Care in Rutland.

She was born June 20, 1928 in Proctor the daughter of Carroll and Hazel (Parker) Comstock.

Doris attended local schools in Rutland and Proctor. She was a seamstress in her early years at Linda Lee Fashions in Rutland and was also a housekeeper at the Cortina Inn and later she was a homemaker.

Survivors are her children, David J. Alberico, of Kennesaw, GA, Duane M. Alberico, of Rutland and Waterbury, VT, Daren F. Alberico, of Rutland, VT Dianne L. Trinci, of Springfield, VT and Darlene J. Dubos, of Derry NH. By her sisters, Barbara McKinstry, of Milton, Vt , Joyce Notte, of Rutland, Vt  , of Rutland, VT. By her 11 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was predeceased by her parents, by her husband John C. Alberico who died may 11, 2018, by her siblings, Carroll Comstock Jr, William Comstock, Richard Comstock, Donald Comstock, Charlene Elkey, Janet Lavictorie, Audrey Alberico and  Charlotte Flanders.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated on Wednesday June 11, 2025 at 11 A.M. at St. peter’s Catholic Church, Rutland, with the Rev. Richard Crawley as the celebrant.

Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital or to Tunnels to Tower Foundation.
