Dylan Labelle
After 19 short years, heaven opened it's doors to another angel.
Dylan Labelle, 19, of Deering, NH died unexpectedly Sunday morning at Monadnock Community Hospital in Peterborough, NH.
He was born in Rutland, March 17, 1997 the son of Michael Labelle and Andrea (Palluotto) Tonken and Kirt Tonken.
Dylan was a graduate of Hillsboro/Deering High School. He was employed at Leon's Auto in Keene, NH, where he gained a passion for automobiles.
Dylan was a talented musician who brightened everyone's day with a song, with the hope one day of "making it big". He was a funny young man who brought so much joy to everyone he knew. He was a gentle soul who knew just what to say to make you smile. Dylan enjoyed hunting in various places in Vermont and New Hampshire, and fishing whenever he had the opportunity. Dylan pursued his love for football and played for the Redhawks Football Organization as number 77, playing both offensive and defensive positions. Dylan enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, and loved his cat, Gibson very much. Dylan did community service for The Special Olympics, specifically The Artful Dodgers. He always looked out for the underdog and made sure that everyone was treated fairly. He left us all way too soon, but his memory will be with us forever.
"Another turning point
A fork stuck in the road
Time grabs you by the wrist
Directs you where go
So make the best of this test
And don't ask why
It's not a question
But a lesson learned in time
It's something unpredictable
But in the end it's right
I hope you had the time of your life".
Surviving are his mother Andrea Tonken and stepfather, Kirt Tonken of Deering, NH, his father, Michael Labelle and brother Michael Labelle of Rutland, his nephew James Dylan Labelle, his maternal grandmother, Joyce Sayers of Poultney, his maternal grandfather, Pasquale Palluotto of Columbia, TN, his godmother/aunt, Tina Alberts of Saratoga, NY, his godfather/uncle Barry Whalen of NH and many other aunts, uncles, and cousins.
