Eileen L. Kynoski

PROCTOR                  Eileen L. Kynoski, 99, of Proctor, Vermont, died on October 4, 2024, at The Meadows in Rutland, VT. Eileen was born on November 10, 1924, in Clarendon, VT, the daughter of Willard and Hazel (Cutting) Johnson.

She attended Rutland High School and graduated in 1944. She was a member of Saint Dominic's Church in Proctor and served as a member of the Catholic Daughters. Eileen married Frank Kynoski on February 26, 1949. She was a devoted wife and mother but also found time to work at Gill's Delicatessen for 21 years. Eileen enjoyed outings with her family and friends. She loved to bake and was known for sharing her apple pies with family and neighbors.

She was predeceased by her parents, her infant brother, her sisters Sylvia Bersaw and Lila Pitts, and her great-grandchildren Nick Brown and Kyle Kynoski.

Survivors include her daughter, Elizabeth King (John) of Rutland, VT; son, David Kynoski (Lisa) of Wadmalaw Island, SC; grandchildren John King III Adam King (Sarah), Summer Stoutes (Mark), Justin King (Merissa), Melissa Welsh (Charles), Zachary Kynoski (Alicia); great-grandchildren Grace, Reese, Addison, Maddox, Lena, Evan, Natalie, Henry,

and many nieces and nephews.

Calling hours will be held from 5:00-7:00 pm, Wednesday, October 9, 2024, at Clifford Funeral Home at 2 Washington Street, Rutland, VT. The funeral mass will be held at 11:00 am, Thursday, October 10, 2024, at Christ the King Church at 66 South Main Street, Rutland, VT. The burial will follow in Riverside Cemetery in Proctor, VT.
