Ernani Antonio Zullo, 73, of Rutland, died Dec. 29, 2016, at his home.
He was born in Cervinara, Italy, Feb. 4, 1943, the son of Sossio and Natalina (Moscatiello) Zullo.
He received an Associate degree in Education.
Ernani was employed at Rutland Plywood for many years, retiring in 2007.
He was a member of St. Peter Church and the Italian American Club on Grove Street.
Surviving are three sisters, Mary Zullo Belden and her husband, William, of Rutland Town, Julia Zullo Prezioso and her husband, Carmine, of White Plains, New York, and Giovanna Zullo Crisci, of Cervinara, Italy; a sister-in-law, Esterina Marro Zullo, of Cervinara, Italy; nieces, nephews and cousins in the U.S. and Italy.
He was predeceased by his parents and by a brother, Giovanni Zullo.
Private funeral services will be held Thursday, Jan. 5, 2017, at 1 p.m. at Clifford Funeral Home. Officiating will be Rev. Thomas Houle, pastor of St. Peter Church.
Burial will be at a later date in Calvary Cemetery.
Contributions may be made to the Italian American Club or to St. Peter Church.
