Francis H Loso

RUTLAND   Francis H. Loso 86, of Rutland passed away peacefully at his home on November 5, 2023.  He was born on September 18, 1937 in Proctor the son of Charles J. and Mae (Durkee) Loso.  He worked for Johnson Tree Gang, Spencer Construction, A.J. Grace and North Country Property Maintenance.  He loved spending time outdoors caring for nature, as well as inside, remodeling his home of 40 years in West Rutland.  He served in the National Guard in the 1960’s.

He is survived by his wife, Judy (Brown) Loso, daughters Lynn (Mike) McLoud, Jennifer (Dustin) Coffin , sons Francis “Chuck” (Rosalind), Steven, Roy (Ginger), Mark (Margie), John (Kelley), numerous grandchildren, great and great-great children.

He was predeceased by his parents, his 1st wife and mother of his children Beverly A. (Bullock) Loso, his sisters, Lorraine Canty and Elsie Hansen; brothers, Robert, Richard, Wilfred, Harold, Lawrence and grandson Christopher.

Calling hours will be held on Thursday November 9th from 3 to 6PM at Clifford Funeral Home in Rutland.  Funeral services will be held on Friday November 10th at 11AM at St. Bridget’s Church with burial to follow at St. Bridget’s Cemetery in West Rutland.
