Frank Flory Jr.

Frank Joseph Flory Jr., 84, of Center Rutland, passed away unexpectedly at his home on August 6th, 2026. He was born on August 31st, 1941, in Rutland, VT, to Frank and Alice (Vignali) Flory Sr.

Frank spent his career working telecommunications line install and repair for New England Telephone Company. In retirement Frank found a second career as a substitute teacher, working many days in local schools, especially in the Poultney and West Rutland schools.

He is survived by his wife, Julie McQuaid-Flory; his children, Vanessa and her husband Phil, and Colin and his fiancée Allie; his sister, Paula Bass; and his grandson, Harrison Wettach.

A celebration of life will be announced at a later date.
