Rutland - Gordon James Young

Gordon James Young 90, died Friday June 13, 2025 at Mountain View Center in Rutland after a long illness.

He was born April 5, 1935 in Framingham, MA the son of James and Flora (Stearns) Young.

Gordon Attended and Graduated from Montpelier High School class of 1953.

He enlisted in the United States Army and Served during the Korean War.

Gordon was an Engineer working in Woodstock, Vt before his Retirement.

Survivors are his daughter Michele Raymond and fiancé Edward Turner, of Cedar Creek, MO, by his grandchildren Michaela Dickerson and husband Lane of Ft. Belvoir, VA, Samantha Raymond of Strafford, MO and Adam Raymond of Ozark, MO, and three great grandchildren, Kieden, Kol and Phoebe of Virginia.

He was predeceased by his parents, his sister and by his wife Marie Anne Young (Burgess)

Graveside services will be held at a future date in River side Cemetery in Proctor.
