Gregory Dale Webster

RUTLAND It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Gregory Dale Webster on December 27, 2024 peacefully in his home in Rutland, VT.

Gregory Dale Webster was born on August 3, 1956 in Rutland, VT, the son of Floyd and Marion (Moulton) Webster.

He was a groomer at Killington Ski Resort, ski instructor for Pico's Jr. Program, he worked at Toolcraft & Timberwolf, he owned and operated his own archery shop, and he then retired from the State of Vermont Highway Department.

Gregory was an avid hunter and fisherman, lifelong skier, he excelled in baseball including pitching in the 1974 VT State Championship, coaching his sons youth baseball teams, he loved snowmobiling, and spending time with his family, especially his grand kids.

He is survived by his sons Aaron (Caity Parker) Webster and Corey (Erica Raiche) Webster; brother Scott (Bonnie) Webster; sister Linda Webster Caputi; and grandchildren Alexis Webster, Austin Webster, Odin Webster, and Andrew Raiche.

He was preceded in death by both parents; son Brett Webster; brother Keith Webster; brother-in-law Greg Caputi; and niece Lisa Shortsleeve.

A celebration of life will be held from 1:00-4:00pm on Sunday January 12, 2025 at the Moose Club in Rutland, VT.

Arrangements are under the direction of Clifford Funeral Home.
