Hubert Daniel “Hubie” Pratt, 78 of Rutland died Wednesday August 10, 2016 in Rutland.

He was born in Rutland, March 4, 1938 the son of Foster and June (Freeman) Pratt.

Hubie was a graduate of Mt. Saint Joseph Academy where he excelled in sports.

He was a veteran of the U.S. Army.

Hubie was employed as an entrepreneur with his focus in restaurants.

He enjoyed golf, friends and the Atlanta Braves.

Surviving are his mother, June F. Pratt of Rutland, his longtime loving companion of 40 years, Eileen Brough of Rutland, two daughters, Andrea Pratt of Ormond Beach, FL and Wendy Pratt of Rutland, one sister Susan Keltner, a granddaughter, Ashley Pratt, the “Apple of his Eye”, nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at a later date with burial to follow in Laurel Glenn Cemetery in Cuttingsville.
