Janet Haynes Sax

Janet Haynes Sax, 78 of  Rutland
Passed away peacefully at home on March 11, 2024. She was born in Cleveland, Ohio on August 9, 1945, the daughter of Blanche and Clarence Haynes. Janet was married to William Sax who passed away January 25,2015. They were married for 34 years. Janet was a lifelong lover of dogs.  She particularly loved her two Labrador retrievers and her favorite lap dog Daisy.
Janet pursued her career as a registered nurse for over 40 years.
She loved to read but also enjoyed her annual trips to New York City to see the Broadway plays and visit the museums.
Janet is survived by two brothers,
Bruce Haynes of Chesterland, Ohio; Roger Haynes of San Antonio , Tx; nephew, Eric Haynes of Detroit, MI; Stepson, Michael Sax of Salem,
MA; and other family members.

Memorial services will be held at Clifford Funeral home on Saturday, March 30, 2024 at 11:00am. A gathering at Southside Steakhouse will immediately follow the service.
