Joan Ann Greenwood

West Rutland – Joan Greenwood, passed away on March 22nd 2025 at the age of 82. Born in Rutland, VT on November 28, 1942. The daughter of Henry and Mary (O’Connor) Greenwood.

Graduated from West Rutland High School and Castleton State College. Taught at Frederic Duclos Barstow Memorial School for 35years.

A member of St. Bridget’s church in West Rutland, The Vermont Retired Teacher Association, the West Rutland Historical Society, a volunteer for RSVP and a longtime trustee of the West Rutland Public Library.

A funeral mass will be celebrated at St. Bridget’s Church on Monday March 31st at 11am. Burial will be at a later date in Sacred Heart Cemetery in West Rutland.

Arrangements are under the direction of Clifford Funeral Home.
