John Boleson Krysztofik 77, died early Monday Morning at the Granville Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing in Granville, NY.

He was born May 30, 1948 in Rutland, Vt the son of John J. Krysztofik and Lillian (Fenton) Krysztofik.

John was a graduate of Mount Saint Joseph Academy , class of 1966.

He entered the United States Marine Corps and served during Vietnam era beginning in 1966 for 11 months and then had a grenade go off next to him and he was honorably discharged after his stay in the hospital.

John owned and operated his own Auto Mechanic Garage, JK Repair since 1980.

He enjoyed fishing, hunting and drag racing.

Survivors are his wife Barbara Krysztofik, two daughters, Crystal Krysztofik and Tiffany Mills. Also by his 8 grandchildren.

He was predeceased by his parents and by a sister Alexandia Fairhill of Virginia.

Funeral Services will be held at the Vermont Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Randolph, VT on Tuesday August 26, 2025 at 11 A.M.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the American Legion Post # 87 in West Rutland.
