John J. Wos

John J. Wos, 54, died Wednesday Sept. 7, 2016 at Exeter Hospital in Exeter, NH.

He was born April 22, 1962, in Rutland, the son of Stanley and Annastasia (Jakuboswki) Wos.

He graduated from West Rutland High School in 1980.

Mr. Wos was employed by Isovolta Inc. and Parkers Classic Auto Works in Rutland.

He was a member of St. Stanislaus Kostka Church in West Rutland.

He enjoyed spending time at the ocean, and was an avid fan of the Miami Dolphins and the Boston Red Sox.

Surviving are his wife Carolyn (Pokrywka) Wos of West Rutland; his Father, of West Rutland; Step son, Matthew Muro of West Rutland; Step daughter Melissa (Marc) Quinlan of Latham, NY; and Poppi’s 2 grandchildren, Josie Muro and Bauer Quinlan.

He was predeceased by his brother, Stanley Wos, Jr.; and his Mother, Annastasia.

Funeral services will be held at St. Stanislaus Kostka Church in West Rutland at 11am on Tuesday Sept. 13, 2016.

Calling hours will be held at St. Stanislaus Kostka Church prior to the funeral mass from 10am-11am.

Burial will follow at St. Stanislaus Kostka Cemetery in West Rutland.
