Julia Gradziel

Julia Gradziel RUTLAND — Julia Gradziel, 100, of Rutland died Tuesday September 19, 2023 at Rutland Health Care & Rehabilitation. She was born in West Rutland, May 26, 1923 the daughter of Thomas and Sophie (Osika) Bania. Julia was a graduate of West Rutland High School. Surviving are nieces and nephews. She was pre-deceased by her husband Charles Gradziel in 1996, her daughter Therese Gradziel in 2015 and by four brothers, Albert, Stanley, Joseph and Walter Bania; and five sisters, Mary Salengo, Victoria Stokowski, Stephania Blicharz, Eleanor Bania and Antoinette Kazmierzak. Visiting hours will be held Wednesday September 27, 2023 from 9:30 to 10:30am at Clifford Funeral Home in Rutland. Graveside services will follow at 11:00am at St. Stanislaus Cemetery in West Rutland. Julia’s family would like to thank Rutland Health Care for the wonderful care they provided for Julia over the years. Contributions may be made to St. Stanislaus Kostka Church.J
