June's greatest joy was her family, especially her beloved husband, Ernest P. Zambon, whom she married in 1959.

RUTLAND — June M. Zambon, 88, passed away on October 11, 2026, at home, surrounded by her loving family.

Born on November 19, 1937, in Washington, D.C. Daughter of Margaret L. (Hammond) Burke. June was a graduate of Mount Saint Joseph Academy. She enjoyed a long and rewarding career in real estate. 

June's greatest joy was her family, especially her beloved husband, Ernest P. Zambon, whom she married in 1959. They shared a lifetime of love and devotion while raising their four children.

June was predeceased by her parents; her husband, infant son, Paul; and her brother, William "Jerry" Burke.

She is survived by her four children, Peter, Michael, Mary-Kaye, and Christina, and their families; her brothers, Francis and Timothy Burke, and their families; as well as the surviving family of her late brother, William “Jerry” Burke. 

June will be remembered for the beautiful life she built, the love she shared, and the family that meant so much to her. Her memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
