Kathleen J. Leamy

Lake Bomoseen- Kathleen J. Leamy, 88, of Lake Bomoseen died peacefully surrounded by family on Saturday September 7, 2024 at Rutland Regional Medical Center following a brief illness.

She was born on October 26, 1935 in Rutland., the daughter of Anthony and Rose (Paonessa) Salerni.

Kathleen attended Mount Saint Joseph Academy class of 1953 then attended Rutland Hospital X-Ray Tech School

She worked for many years at Rutland Hospital as an X-Ray technician and was Chief X-Ray Technician at her retirement.

Kathleen married James Leamy in 1966 at Christ the King Church.

She enjoyed gardening, sailing, and dancing.

Survivors include her husband James; a brother Ted Salerni; nephews David Salerni, Tony Salerni, and Ted Salerni Jr. and a niece Cathy McGinnes.

She was pre-deceased by her sister Mary Byrne in 2006 and a brother Salvatore Salerni in 2015.

There will be no calling hours.

A funeral mass will be held at 11:00am Saturday September 14, 2024 in Saint Johns the Baptist Church in Castleton.
