Kim Michael Moriglioni, 71 of Pittsford passed away peacefully, Thursday June 18th , after a short battle with Leukemia. He was born in Springfield Vermont, to James A. and Marion Moriglioni (Woodard)
He spent his life learning the mechanical and natural sciences settling into a career as a master mechanic and welder and was widely known for his ability to diagnose and fix pretty much anything. He was most himself in his garage fixing something or outdoors exploring nature. He was an avid hunter and fisherman and was a long-time member of the Mendon Fish and Game Club. His favorite hobby was spending time on one of his many self-maintained toys on his property moving rocks, stumps, mowing his fields and managing any fallen trees.
He is survived by his soulmate and wife Dawn, son Anthony (Kate) Moriglioni and daughter Tammi (Tony) DeFelice as well as stepchildren Stacy (Troy) Knutson and Edmourd Touchette. His stepmother Barbara, siblings Rex, Gina, Mary (Tom) Potanovic , Holly (Richard) Morin, and Tony (Amy)Moriglioni as well as numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his Father James, Mother Marion and sister Kay.
His beloved family and friends, as well as the world of mechanics, will miss Kim.
A celebration of Kim’s life will be held at a later date and he asks that in leu of flowers plant a tree on your property in his name.
