Kirk Nelson Hatt

Kirk Nelson Hatt, born March 04, 1963 in Newport Beach, CA, passed unexpectedly on June 18, 2024.
Kirk graduated from Springfield High School in 1981.
He went on to academics focused on Hotel management at Champlain College Burlington, VT from 1981-1982 and enlisted and served in the United States Navy from November 1982-April 1988 on the USS Klakring
Kirk then worked at Ben & Jerrys, N. Springfield and Rockingham VT, Lentex Corp N. Walpole, NH and Hannaford’s Supermarket in Rutland VT.
He was predeceased by his parents Howard and Shirley (Redman) Hatt and just recently, his son Drew T. Hatt.
He is survived by his wife Meegan Creaser Hatt Rutland, VT; daughter Gabrielle (Connor) Shanks Clmnt, NH; step children Nicole Kangas San Francisco, CA and Trevin Hutchins San Francisco, CA; brothers Mike (Sherri) Hatt Spfld, VT, Darren (Stacy) Hatt York Maine, and Monte (Terri) Hayes Kansas; grandchildren Jason Ross Crowley, Eibhilin Shanks, Jazzy Albus, and Finn Albus San Francisco, CA.
He has left behind many loved family members- Aunt Barbara-, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
We have faith and know Kirk was welcomed into eternal salvation in Heaven by our Lord Jesus Christ, his son Drew, his mom and dad, and others that have passed on.
Kirk will be loved and missed dearly. His spirit was full of mischief, silliness, and life. He had the ability to make friends with ease and was a Mr. Congeniality.
So with you: now is your time of grief, but I will see you again and you will rejoice, and no one will take away your joy. John 16:22
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
