Laura Jean Moulton

Laura Jean Moulton (Marden) of Pittsford, Vermont passed away peacefully on April 21, 2026. Laura was born on July 22, 1954. She was the daughter of Harry Marden and Jean Marden (Harrington).

Laura retired from the Vermont State Police after serving as a decorated 911 dispatcher for 35 years, where she also served in training and supervisory roles and made a lasting impact on those she worked with. She was a selfless and generous person who always looked out for others. Laura was devoted to her family and friends and always enjoyed spending time with them and taking them out to breakfast. She was a member of the Moose Club in Rutland and a loyal Patriots fan. She was an avid gardener who loved Christmas, snowmen, and the ocean.

Laura is remembered by her loving partner Jeff; her children Catherin, Aaron, and Ian; her five siblings; her five grandchildren; and her dog Sascha. She was preceded in death by her parents, Harry and Jean.

Friends and family are invited to the Clifford Funeral Home in Rutland, VT, for visiting hours on Friday, April 24th, 2026 from 5:00pm to 7:00pm.
