Linda Cooper

Linda “Lynn” Cooper (Rutland, VT) - Linda Cooper, 82, left our world to be with our Lord on Tuesday, May 19th, at The Pines in Rutland. She was born on February 21, 1944, in Melrose, MA, daughter of Stephen and Marilyn “Mickey” (Maxon) Lobo.

She leaves behind her brother, Ed Lobo of Hampton, NY; three daughters, Kelly (Wayne) Schiller of Mendon, VT, Jodi (Mark) Kirko of Carmel, IN, Becki (Ed) Shipman of Cordova, AK; five grandchildren, Jessica and Kristen Schiller, Tom Kirko, Cody and Kylie Shipman; and three great- grandchildren.

A service will be held at 12:00 noon, Wednesday, May 27th, at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 6 Church Hill Road, Rutland, VT with Pastor Patti Stratton officiating. There will be no wake, nor a reception to follow per our mother’s wishes.

We want to extend our great appreciation and affection for all the staff at The Pines who became like a second family to our mom. They hugged her, comforted her, and danced with her often to her favorite old-time rock and roll. 

In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate memorial donations to: Bluefield Project to Cure Frontotemporal Dementia.
