Linda A. Pawlusiak
Linda A. Pawlusiak, 71 of Ira, VT and Lake Worth, FL passed away on April 28, 2024, in West Palm Beach, FL after a brief illness.
She was born in Rutland, VT on April 10, 1953, the daughter of Francis “Fritz” and Charlotte (Herbert) Pawlusiak.
Linda was a 1971 graduate of West Rutland High School. She pursued a degree in History at Castleton State College earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1975. After graduating she was employed by General Electric and graduated from the Apprentice Program. She continued her career at General Electric holding various positions until her retirement in 2009.
While retired Linda had time to pursue her favorite past time of being a “snowbird,” reading, sewing, and playing Left Right Center. Linda also enjoyed reminiscing, and traveling with family and friends.
Linda was a member of St. Bridget’s Church in West Rutland, VT.
Surviving are two sisters, Elizabeth “Betty” Pawlusiak and Christine “Chrissy” Pawlusiak of Ira, VT. A sister-in-law Colleen Pawlusiak of Ira, VT. A niece Melissa Carlson and her husband PJ of West Rutland, VT. A nephew, James Pawlusiak of Ira, VT. A nephew, Michael Pawlusiak and his wife Jamie from Parsippany, NJ. Three Great-Nephews Jefferey Harte, Matthew Harte, and TJ Pawlusiak. Aunts Rosemarie Herbert and Jean Herbert and many cousins.
She was pre-deceased by her parents, and two brothers Francis J. Pawlusiak and Thomas H. Pawlusiak and by a niece Michelle P. Harte.
A visiting hour will be held Tuesday May 21, 2024 from 9:30 to 10:30am at Mullin-Clifford Funeral Home in West Rutland followed by a funeral service at 11:00am at St. Bridget’s Church in West Rutland.
Burial will follow in St. Stanislaus Cemetery.
