Luella Prescott Farnham

Luella Prescott Farnham 93 of Rutland, VT, Mother, Grandmother and sister passed away on June 6, 2026, After the recent loss of her spouse of 73 yrs. Robert Farnham on Feb 12, 2026. The daughter of Earl and Leana (wells) Prescott.

Luella was surrounded by loved ones who tenderly cared for her at her bedside, along with the amazing nurturing staff at Rutland Hospital.

In her early years Luella worked as a secretary for National Life Insurance. Later on after starting her family, she worked for many years in the Morrisville/ Bethel school systems as a cook. Luella enjoyed cooking, gardening and sharing her love of Jesus Christ with everyone around her. Luella along with her spouse Robert were an inseparable team active in Life Faith Church, true prayer warriors. She was always giving of her time and you could hear her sweet voice singing praises to the Lord at church functions. 

Luella is survived by her four sons, Keith, Craig, Kent and Kevin. She will lovingly be remembered by brother Elwin Prescott.

She was preceded in death by her parents and beloved brother, Lonnie Prescott. 

Luella will always be remembered as a woman of strong faith by her family including many Grandchildren and Great-Grandchildren.

Luella will be dearly missed by her family and friends who witnessed a woman that was truly dedicated to her Faith and Family.
