Margaret Bartlett, 88, died Aug. 1, 2016 at Rutland Regional Medical Center.

She was born in Proctor, June 12, 1928, daughter of Stephen J. and Selenia (Forest) Saceric.

Margaret was a 1946 graduate of Proctor High School.

She married Jerome C. Bartlett in 1947 at St. Dominic’s Church. He died July 1, 2010.

Mrs. Bartlett was employed at General Electric Corp. and was an assistant Town Clerk in Proctor.

She was a member of Christ the King Church and a former member of St. Dominic’s Church.

Margaret enjoyed the sunshine in Florida, Hawaii, and at the Maine shoreline. She also loved to crochet, solve Sudoku puzzles, bake, go blueberry picking and go walking with her close friends. She valued time with her friends and family above all else.

Surviving are 4 sons, Jerry Bartlett and wife, Peg of Rutland Town, Reg Bartlett and wife, Pat of York, SC, Chris Bartlett of Aiea, HI, Timothy Bartlett and wife, Patty of North Clarendon; a daughter, Kathy Gee and husband, Bruce of Ira; 9 grandchildren, Scott and wife, Rachel, Ryan and wife, Karen, Jeromy and wife, Nicole, Nichole and husband Jacob, Emma, Adrienne, Cristi and, husband Joe, Jordan and Troy; 7 great grandchildren, Cameron, Jayden, Lyssa, Ashleigh, Morgan, Valerie, and Nora.

She was predeceased by her husband Jerome and a brother, Joseph Saceric.

A funeral mass will be held at 11 am Saturday August 20, 2016 in Christ the King Church.

Burial will follow in Riverside Cemetery in Proctor.

Memorial contributions may be made to Christ the King Church.
