RUTLAND Marilyn P. Mills On Wednesday December 11th,2024 she lost her battle with

Alzheimer’s.

Born on November 28th, 1940 to Alden and Lillian Peters of Rutland. She was born into a very Catholic Family, church was a very big part of her life. Bringing her girls to church on Sunday mornings when they were younger was important to her. Marilyn’s youngest brother, Ralph was in process of becoming a Priest until the Good lord had called him home.

Marilyn graduated from Rutland High School

She worked for many years in the field of hospitality and customer service. Kings Department Store, Kmart Restaurant,

Digital Diagnostics in Oakdale Massachusetts.

Marilyn married Gordon Mills on July 12,1958

She is survived by her four Daughters.

Marilyn was a grandmother of Nine grandchildren.

Marilyn enjoyed her summer trips to Maine with her

Sisters. Held her trip to Ireland with her mother and sister’s dear to her heart.

She enjoyed her shopping trips with her girls and picnics at the

Local beaches with her family.

She loved animals, she always had a cat or two and a dog in the

House.

She processed by her Parents and her 5 siblings, her husband, and her Granddaughter Kara Marie

Officiating will be Rev. Msgr. Bernard Bourgeois
