Martha Buschbaum

Martha Buschbaum, age 84 passed away on February 4, 2026 at the Rutland Regional Medical Center surrounded by family. Martha was born in Suffern, NY. She was the daughter of Helen (Jersey) and William von Minden. She taught in NJ, AK and some substituting in the Rutland area. She also worked for the Census Bureau and a few of the family businesses: Rutland Car wash, Wee Tee Golf and The Ball Card Company. She also volunteered at the Rutland Regional Medical center for 14 years. Surviving are her husband Joseph Buschbaum, her son William Buschbaum and daughter in law Christa Buschbaum, Several nieces and nephews also survive her. A private burial will take place, at a later date. Memorial gifts in lieu of flowers may be made, in her memory to the American Cancer Society or the Rutland County Humane Society.
