Mary Esposito Gilman
Mary Esposito Gilman, 87, of Rutland died October 19, 2016 after a brief illness at West Houston Medical Center, Houston TX. She had resided in Houston TX for the last three years.
She was born in Rutland November 2, 1928 the daughter of Ralph and Stella (Esposito) Esposito.
Mary was a graduate of Mount Saint Joseph Academy class of 1946.
She was employed as a supervisor at Tambrands Inc. for thirty years.
She loved and cherished her granddaughters and enjoyed being with her large Italian family. She was an avid walker for the Rainbow team for Relay for Life and loved her monthly bus trips to the casino!
Surviving are two daughters Barbara Allen and her husband Cary of Houston, TX and Linda Youngblood of The Woodlands, Texas, three brothers, Samuel Esposito of Rutland and Ralph Esposito Jr. of Florida and Richard Esposito of Ohio. Three grandchildren Carolyn Lazarde and her husband Hernan of San Antonio, TX, Jesica Youngblood of Rye, NY and Jaclyn Youngblood and her husband Carmel Levy of Boston, MA. . Also many nieces and nephews.
She was pre-deceased by five sisters, Jennie Cillo, Louise Piscopo, Jeannette Pelkey, Josephine Abatiell and Philomena Duskiewicz and by three brothers, Amalio Esposito, Eugene Esposito and Francis Esposito.
Visiting hours will be held Saturday October 29, from 11:00am to 1:00pm followed by a funeral service at 1:00 at Clifford Funeral Home in Rutland.
Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Mt. Saint Joseph Academy development fund, Convent Ave Rutland, VT 05701 in memory of Mary Esposito Gilman class of ’46.
