Mary E. (Fagan) Hackett
Mary E. “Betty” (Fagan) Hackett, died Sunday November 6, 2016 at Mountain View Genesis.
She was born August 14, 1926, in Rutland, daughter of William T. and Irene (Hevey) Fagan Sr.
Mary was a 1944 graduate of Mount St. Joseph Academy.
Betty was a member of Christ the King Church.
She was employed by the Rutland City as Assistant City Clerk for many years and Fanny Farmer Candies and Rutland Railroad.
Surviving are her three sons John M. Hackett and Brian T. Hackett both of Rutland, Christopher J. Hackett of Westminster; a daughter, Maureen Ketcham of Rutland; nine grandchildren; and 8 great grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her husband, John C. Hackett in 2011 and a brother, Dr. William T. Fagan.
Funeral mass will be held at 11am, Saturday December 17, 2016 in Christ the King Church.
Burial will be held in St. Joseph Cemetery.
Calling hours will be held at the Clifford Funeral Home on Friday December 16, 2016 from 5-7pm.
