Michael F. Curran

RUTLAND            Michael F. Curran, 77, of Rutland died Wednesday May 22, 2024 at the Meadows at East Mountain in Rutland.

Michael was born on January 31, 1947, the son of Phillip and Mary (Sullivan) Curran Sr. He received a bachelor’s degree in business from University of New Hampshire 1969.

For 38 years Michael worked for Carris Reels where he retired as President.

He was a member of Christ the King Church.

Survivors include his wife Carol (Wolfendon) Curran; son Brian A. Curran of NY; daughter Laura M. Curran of Montreal; Sister Mary E. Curran; nephews Erin Badger, Conal Badger, and Owen Badger; brother-in-law Andrew (Karen) Wolfendon; and sister-in-law Diane Shepard.

He was predeceased by both parents; brothers Phillip Curran Jr. and Stephen J. Curran; and sister-in-law Maureen (Norm) Nimno.

Visiting hours will be held Tuesday May 28, 2024 from 9:00 to 11:30 am at Clifford Funeral Home in Rutland, followed by a Funeral Service at 12:00 pm at Christ the King Church in Rutland.
