Minnie A. Arthur

Minnie A. (Gilmore) Arthur, 88, of North Shrewsbury, died on October 5, 2024 at the University of Vermont Medical Center.

Minnie was born on April 17, 1936 in Tinmouth, VT, the daughter of Earl and Reeta (Wideawake) Gilmore. Minnie attended Wallingford Highschool. She was a member of the Shrewsbury Snowbirds. She worked alongside her husband, Gary Arthur, doing the bookkeeping for their business, Arthur’s Auto. Minnie and Gary traveled all over the country, but when they weren’t on the road, Minnie enjoyed the flowers in her garden, snowmobiling, fishing, crafting and even dabbled in hunting.

Survivors include her husband of 69 years, Gary Arthur; son Roy (Cynthia) Arthur and Edward Arthur; daughter Joy (John) Hoenke of Cherry Grove, OR; 5 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, 3 great-great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews whom she loved deepley.

She was predeceased by both parents, 2 brothers, and 4 sisters.
