Monique M. Densmore

CASTLETON     Monique M. Densmore, 67, passed away peacefully on March 22, 2024, in her home with her loving family at her side.

Monique was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. Born on July 23, 1956, in Montreal, Quebec the daughter of Donald and Alice (Germain) Roucoulet. She graduated from Rutland High School in 1974. She was employed at Castleton College for 35 years, retiring in 2021. Monique loved working in her flower beds, kayaking, and cooking for the family. Monique married the love of her life and best friend, John (Jay) Densmore on August 9, 1975.

Survivors include her husband of 48 years John (Jay) Densmore; son Doug (Lynda) Densmore of Hinesberg, VT; daughter Jannell Densmore of Cumberland, RI; sister Jeri Wyman of Castleton; granddaughters Madilyn Taylor, Alexa Taylor, and Aliya Densmore.

She is predeceased by her sister Becky and brothers Donnie and Ed.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday May 11, 2024 at 3:00PM at the American Legion Post 50 in Castleton, VT.

Arrangements were made under the direction of Clifford Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The American Cancer Society.
