Moriah Rose Gillam

Moriah Rose Gillam September 6, 1993- April 24, 2025

Moriah Rose Gillam of Rutland passed away suddenly on April 24th, 2025 at the age of 31.

Moriah was a loving daughter, sister, friend and mother to her son. Her smile and
personality would light up the room. She will be forever and deeply missed.

Born in Rutland Vermont on Labor Day in 1993, Moriah grew up in Rutland and graduated
from Rutland Senior High School in 2012.

She lived in Hardwick Vermont for 7 years and gave birth to her beautiful son Thomas
Edward Bachand IV on December 11, 2019. She returned to Rutland in July of 2024.

She is survived by her mother Linda Bachand Barber and Stepfather Kenneth Barber of
Castleton, Father John Gillam and stepmother Becky Stevens of Rutland, sisters
Cassondra Lafaso of Rutland and Hannah Lafaso of Proctor, brother Timothy Gillam of
Rutland and her son Thomas Edward Bachand of Rutland, several Uncles, Aunts and
cousins.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, May 24th at the Clifford Funeral Home at 11:00am
in Rutland. A celebration of life will follow at the VFW in Rutland. All are welcome to attend.

John Gillam. Donations will be set up in a trust for her son Thomas.
