Myron A. Jones Jr.91, died Thursday morning May 22, 2025 at his residence in Rutland surrounded by his loving family.

He was born January 26, 1934 in Manchester, VT the son of Myron A. Jones Sr. and Lillian (Tift) Jones.

Myron was a member of St. Peters Catholic Church in Rutland.

Myron served in the military then worked as a truck driver for many years while raising his family.  He retired as a machinist for General Electric in Rutland. After retiring, he began volunteering as a driver for One to One.  Myron had a passion for riding motorcycles, camping, and spending time with his family.

Survivors include his children: Larry Jones (Christine), Bob Jones, Darcy Anderson, Linda Bahnson (David), and Jacqueline Rooker (Jeremy), and his twin brother Frank Jones (Fe). He also has grandchildren: Rachel, Joe, Olivia, Riley and Evelyn and three great- granddaughters. Myron leaves behind his long-time companion Cheryl Smet, with whom he enjoyed back roading with and visiting their favorite eateries.

He was predeceased by his parents and several siblings.

Funeral services will be held on Monday June 2, 2025 at 11 A.M. at Clifford Funeral Home. Visiting hours will be from 10 A.M. until the time of the service at 11 A.M.
