Neil E. Freeman SR, 76 passed away Wednesday July 30th at the Rutland Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center after a long illness and old age.

He was born February 20th 1949 in Burlington, VT the son of Earl T. Freeman and Cecile Benoit.

Neil E. Freeman was a high school graduate of Burlington high school class of 1966.

He was a United States Navy veteran in Vietnam.

Neil E. Freeman enjoyed in his free time doing fishing, swimming, playing drums, he also knew how to build drums, most of all he loved reading. He would always talk about his experience in the Navy with his family.

Survivors are his sons Shaun Lee Freeman and Neil E Freeman II of Hinesburg and grandkids Cassady L.Freeman, Maddie E Freeman, Karley M Freeman of Hinesburg. Neil E. Freeman Sr has 2 sister and 4 brothers and there names are Joyce Bove Freeman from South Burlington, Earl and Judy  Freeman from Colchester, Robert and Kelly freeman from Colchester, Lance and Camille Freeman from Swanton- Saint Albans.

Neil E. Freeman had a sister named Joan Clark Freeman predeceased and a brother James Freeman also predeceased.

The one kid that gained his wings before the passing of Neil E Freeman SR was his other son Erik M. Freeman

Graveside service will be held in the Vermont Memorial Cemetery in Randolph,Vt.

Arrangements will be held in September
