Noel A. Daly

Noel A. Daly, 80, of Rutland, VT, died on November 19, 2024, at Mountain View Center after a long illness.

Noel was born on March 29, 1944 in Rutland, VT, the oldest son of Matthew and Marie (Liberty) Daly.

He worked as a quality control inspector for Pitney Bowes in CT, for 20 years.

He was a longtime member of the Loyal Order of Moose.

Noel was an avid sports fan, especially of the Boston Red Sox.

Survivors include his brothers David (Trish) Daly of Lexington, SC, Daniel (Alicia) Daly of Rutland, VT, and Robert Daly of Denver, CO; sister Charlene (Manny) Gomes of Monroe, CT; a special friend, Noreen Babcock; and several nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by wife Linda M. (Davis) Daly in 1999; wife Sheryl A. (Bogdanovitch) in 2021; and sisters Marilee Watson and Linda Timbers.

In lieu of flowers, contribution may be made to the Rutland County Humane Society at 765 Stevens Rd., Pittsford, VT 05763.

Calling hours will be from 10:30am-12:00pm followed by a funeral service on November 26, 2024 at Clifford Funeral Home. A burial will follow at East Clarendon Cemetery.
