Olga, 102 years old, of West Rutland and Rutland, passed away peacefully on August 1,2026 at The Pines of Rutland.

Born on March 9,1924 in West Rutland, Vermont. Olga was the beloved Daughter of Lea and Corrado Ascoli. She grew up in Center Rutland and attended Mount St. Joseph’s for grade school and High school.

On December 12,1943, Olga married Frank J. Bruno, and together they shared 71 years of marriage until his passing in 2014. They built a life filled with love, family, faith, friends and The New York Yankees.

Throughout her career, Olga worked as a Pharmacy Associate for Park Pharmacy and Secretary for Dr. Kolodzej’s dental office for many years. She was known for being in the Glee Club and the Athletic Association in high school. She was a great swimmer and enjoyed many sports. She later became part of the auxiliary fire department and enjoyed spending time at both the K of C and the Italian American club with her husband Frank.

Outside of work, Olga enjoyed the morning crossword puzzle in the newspaper, word searches, cooking, and going to church. She especially loved her grandchildren. Those who knew her will remember her love of family, friends and her many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

Olga is survived by: Her daughters Carol Randall and Husband Gary Randall and Noreen Myher and her husband Larry Myher, 10 Grandchildren, 18 Great-Grandchildren, 10 Great-Great Grandchildren.

Olga was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, 3 sisters and one brother.

A visitation will be held on August 20,2026 from 5pm to 7pm at Clifford’s Funeral Home in Rutland, Vermont. A funeral service will take place on August 21,2026 at 11am at St. Bridget’s Church in West Rutland. Burial will follow at St. Bridget’s Cemetery. A reception will follow the burial at The American Legion #49 in Fair Haven, Vermont, On August 21,2026 at 12:30pm

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to The West Rutland Fire Department in West Rutland, Vermont and St. Bridget’s Church in West Rutland, Vermont.

The family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to the wonderful teams at The Meadows and at The Pines of Rutland for their compassion, respectful care and support.

Olga's legacy will live in the hearts of all who knew and loved her. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
