Patricia Papineau

RUTLAND                Patricia Papineau, 73, passed peacefully September 14, 2024 at Rutland Hospital.

Survived by her daughter, Cami, and family Daniel, Dylan, Tristan and Zoe.

She was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Richard and Bette Papineau.

She started dancing professionally at the age of 8 and dedicated her time, energy, and most of her life to the love of Ballet. Her talent contributed to her presence at the Bolshoi Ballet and American Ballet Company as well as opening her own studio at a young age. As Miss Vermont and Miss Vermont World her love of entertainment opened a world of pageants, commercials, and modeling.

As an avid philanthropist, she founded multiple charities across her home state of VT, devoting her tenderness to Immaculate Heart of Mary Church. She was also a writer for several VT columns, and dedicated her smile to cable access TV and phenomenal meals to everyone who knew her, contributing to the Immaculate Heart of Mary Cookbook. As a woman of her community, she contributed more than words can describe and was beloved. Pati will be missed as a loss to the lives of everyone she touched.
