Robert J. Joyce

Robert J. Joyce, 75, died September 19, 2021 at Rutland Regional Medical Center.

He was born in Rutland, May 8, 1946, the son of John F. and Eureta (Rounds) Joyce.

Robert was a US Army War Veteran.

He was a 1964 graduate of Mount St. Joseph Academy.

He worked at General Electric, Coca Cola and the Rutland Country Club.

Robert enjoyed watching golf and was a fan of the NY Yankees.

He was a member of St. Peter’s Church.

Surviving are a brother, William “Bill” Joyce; 2 sisters, Dianne Joyce and Alta Rice, all of Rutland; 13 nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his brothers, John Joyce and Thomas Joyce; sisters, Patricia Scott, Judith Martel, Mary Reta Joyce and June F. Hughes.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held in St. Peter’s Church at 10:30 AM on Friday, September 24, 2021.  Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery.

Arrangements are by the Clifford Funeral Home.
