Robert James Maikowski, 63, died Aug. 12, 2016 at Rutland Regional Medical Center.
He was born in Middletown, CT., March 4, 1953, son of Henry and Ruth (Davis) Maikowski.
He enjoyed fishing, gardening, cooking and playing horseshoes.
Surviving are a daughter, Kristie Maikowski; a brother, Edward Maikowski of Wilmington, N.C.; 5 sisters, Anna Wojtowicz of Middlefield, CT, Donna Gesick of Deep River, CT, Bonita Dart of Chester, CT, Ruth Loftus of Deep River, CT and Sally Ackerman of Westbrook, CT.
He was predeceased by his parents; two brothers, Donald Maikowski and Henry Maikowski Jr.
Services will be held at the convenience of the family.
Arrangements are by the Clifford Funeral Home.
