Robert L. Trombley

Robert L. Trombley Sr., 83, died May 20, 2019 at Mountain View Center in Rutland.

He was born in St. Albans, Dec. 18, 1935, son of Frederick J. and Emma Rose (Shepard) Trombley.

Robert was a graduate of Mount St. Joseph Academy.

He was a US Air Force Veteran.

Mr. Trombley was a lineman at CVPS.

He was a member of St. Raphael’s Church, Poultney American Legion Post 39 and DAV Life Member of Green Mountain State #2.

Surviving are a son, Robert Trombley Jr. of New Bern, N.C., 3 daughters, Gina Himes of Poultney, Lynn Yonemoto of North Hills, CA, Jody Peters of Walpole, N.H.; 2 brothers, Leonard Trombley of Sebastian, FL and Donald Trombley of McKinney TX; 10 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren; nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his wife, Jo Anne (Franzoni) Trombley on Oct. 24, 2014.

A mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11am Friday May 31, 2019 in St. Raphael’s Church. A reception will follow in the church hall.

Private burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.
