Samuel Hollander

Samuel N. Hollander, 74, of Chittenden, VT died on September 27, 2024 at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center.

Samuel was born on November 11, 1949 in Brooklyn, NY, the son of Sidney and Florence (Goldstein) Hollander. Samuel attended California State University and Montana State University, graduating with a master's degree. He worked as a psychotherapist for Rutland Mental Health and went on to open his own practice.

He enjoyed all outdoor activities including biking, skiing, and kayaking. Sam even rode his bicycle across the country alone in his 20's. He also enjoyed spending time with his family and grandchildren.

Survivors include his wife, Jennifer (Stahura) Hollander; sons John Hollander, Daniel (Kathy) Hollander; daughter Rebecca (Will) Kenney; grandchildren Aedan and Ava Hollander; and Nephew Joshua Hollander.

He was predeceased by both parents; brother Steven Hollander; sister Patricia (Scotty) Hollander.

A service will be held at a later date.
